The role involves building and enhancing a Progressive Web Application, developing user interfaces, integrating APIs, and collaborating with teams to deliver application features.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance a React Native and Expo-based Progressive Web Application
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces from approved designs
• Integrate front-end functionality with AWS AppSync GraphQL APIs
• Implement authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito
• Develop event discovery, search, calendar, profile, and membership management features
• Implement client-side state management and local storage solutions
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver application features
• Perform testing, debugging, and production readiness activities
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and front-end architecture discussions

Skills

• 5+ years of Front-End Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native
• Experience building applications using Expo
• Experience developing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience consuming and integrating GraphQL APIs
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization workflows
• Experience building data-driven applications with complex API integrations
• Strong understanding of front-end application architecture and state management
• Experience working in fast-paced product development environments
• AWS Amplify experience
• AWS Cognito and AWS AppSync expertise
• Experience building membership, ticketing, booking, scheduling, or marketplace applications
• Experience deploying and supporting mobile applications
• Startup or early-stage product development experience
• Experience optimizing application performance across web and mobile platforms
