Responsibilities

• Write Direct Mail Appeals for acquisition, renewal, and emergency appeal packages that motivate donors to give
• Create Digital Content including email campaigns, social copy, landing pages, and e-appeals designed to convert online audiences
• Develop Impact Messaging such as donor reports, stewardship pieces, and case statements that demonstrate results and deepen donor relationships

Skills

• Have experience writing fundraising or direct response copy
• Understand the art of the ask — and know how to tell a story that leads to one
• Can write for both print and digital audiences with equal fluency
• Meet deadlines, take feedback well, and work independently
• Have a portfolio of direct mail, email, or nonprofit writing samples
