LinkedIn is seeking experienced strategic finance and finance business-partnering professionals to provide expert insight for a project in their AI Marketplace. The role involves participating in a one-time, paid, project-based interview where candidates will explain their real-world experience in finance-related workflows and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• You’ll complete a ~ 30-minute recorded AI-led video interview where you explain how you actually do your work in practice
• This interview will focus on:
• Building business cases with costs, benefits, ROI/NPV/payback, assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivities
• Challenging assumptions with business owners and handling intangible or strategic benefits
• Framing what-if models to support decisions rather than just produce outputs
• Documenting recommendation artifacts, scenario assumptions, risks, and post-investment tracking
• You will be asked to explain workflows specifically within: business-case intake, assumption validation, investment appraisal, scenario modeling, recommendation development, and post-investment review workflows

Skills

• 6+ years in strategic finance, FP&A business partnering, corporate finance, investment appraisal, or business operations finance
• Direct, hands-on experience in business-case intake, assumption validation, investment appraisal, scenario modeling, recommendation development, and post-investment review workflows
• Experience making or influencing decisions related to assumption credibility, investment thresholds, scenario choice, risk/sensitivity framing, approval path, and post-approval ownership
• Familiarity with tools such as: Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Tableau, Power BI
• Strong ability to clearly explain workflows, decisions, and reasoning
• Experience owning or directly executing these workflows in a real production environment
• Experience working in a cross-functional finance, strategy, treasury, investor-relations, or business-partnering environment
