The Federal Project Manager will oversee a high-impact nationwide modernization program, ensuring alignment and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Direct PMO Support: Assist the Lead PM function in the creation and management of comprehensive task lists, Action Item Registries, and meeting minutes
• Documentation & Governance: Collaborate with the Lead PM and Lead Engineer to develop Statements of Work (SOW), Task and Responsibility Matrixes (RACI), and staffing requirement plans
• Integrated Scheduling: Provide essential input for the development and execution of the total program schedule
• Work Breakdown: Assist in the creation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) tailored to contract scope and program goals
• Lifecycle Management: Support concurrent design and deployment contracts at various stages of execution, ensuring seamless coordination between distributed teams of PMs, Engineers, and Service Technicians
• Strategic Alignment: Act as a bridge between technical execution and corporate strategy, ensuring tight alignment with Sales goals, strategic business plans, and customer relationship management
• Stakeholder Synergy: Maintain close working relationships with the Lead PM, Lead Program Engineer, Technical Service Manager, and Customer Service Manager (CSM)
• Scope Management: Assist in managing subcontractor and partner work scopes
• Performance Monitoring: Contribute to subcontract development and ongoing performance management to ensure third-party compliance with program standards

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of project/program management or similar business experience
• OR 5+ years of project/program management or similar business experience
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
