The Director of Operations will oversee and optimize day-to-day operations, manage workflows, and ensure operational efficiency to support SDG-focused finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations across the organization
• Coordinate project delivery
• Manage workflows and processes
• Ensure operational efficiency in support of SDG-focused finance initiatives
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation
• Track key performance indicators
• Implement tools and systems to support consulting engagements
• Collaborate closely with leadership and subject-matter experts in Copenhagen and New York
• Align operational plans with strategic objectives
• Manage internal communication
• Support client relationship processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement across services and internal operations

Skills

• Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, project coordination, and implementation of scalable systems
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, tracking KPIs, and supporting evidence-based decision-making
• Proven Team Management experience, including remote team coordination, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Budgeting capabilities, including financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation to support organizational goals
• Customer Service orientation, with the ability to support investor and client needs, ensure high-quality delivery, and maintain long-term relationships
• Experience in consulting, impact investing, sustainable finance, or ESG-focused roles is highly beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Comfort working in a fully remote, international environment, with strong organizational and self-management skills
