Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GENNTE Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in modern data technologies. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines within a Lakehouse architecture environment, requiring hands-on experience with Azure cloud technologies and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines and data integration workflows
• Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with architects and analysts to support reporting and analytics initiatives
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance pipeline efficiency in an Agile environment

Skills

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with a strong focus on Databricks
• Expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks Lakehouse Architecture, Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, CDC, SCD Type 1 & Type 2, data modeling, and analytics enablement
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
