About This Remote Customer Service Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage High-Volume Inquiries: Handle a steady stream of incoming calls and chats from banking and financial services customers, providing timely and accurate assistance with professionalism and warmth.
  • Gather and Assess Information: Collect relevant customer details, thoroughly evaluate needs, and deliver tailored solutions that address each unique situation.
  • Educate and Empower: Clearly explain financial products, services, and tax preparation offerings, ensuring customers feel informed and confident in their decisions.
  • Navigate Multiple Systems: Utilize various platforms and web-based applications simultaneously to access customer accounts, document interactions, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Drive First-Call Resolution: Apply established resolution guidelines to close out customer concerns in a single interaction whenever possible, escalating complex issues through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Meet Performance Metrics: Consistently achieve or exceed company and client benchmarks for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Call Center Experience: Minimum of one year of demonstrated success in a call center or contact center environment.
  • Customer Service Experience: At least one year of professional experience delivering exceptional customer support.
  • Computer Proficiency: Minimum of two years of computer experience in a professional work setting, with strong familiarity navigating multiple applications and web-based tools.
  • Technical Aptitude: Tech support experience is strongly preferred and will give you a competitive edge.
  • Multitasking Ability: Comfortable switching between multiple windows, applications, and conversations without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and compassionately.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A resourceful, solution-oriented approach to customer challenges.
  • Dedicated Home Workspace: A quiet, distraction-free area in your home where you can focus on delivering excellent service.
  • Internet Requirements: Reliable hardwired internet connection with download speeds of at least 50 Mbps and upload speeds of at least 10 Mbps. Wireless or Wi-Fi connections are not permitted due to security and performance standards.
