The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, securing, and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure to support the SmartCare™ EHR platform, while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and managing Cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure platform that enables seamless access to patient records and applications
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable, consistent, and automated deployments
• Automating administrative tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing innovative solutions
• Implementing security measures that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Creating clear and thorough documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures
• Working closely with IT, security, DevOps, and project managers to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals
• Supporting process improvement using a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to data governance

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of professional experience designing and managing cloud-based Windows Server environments with expertise in Azure
• Advanced experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell, and Python
• Deep understanding of the product management lifecycle and its impact on infrastructure
• Refined communication, analytical, and documentation skills – you thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Intellectual curiosity - a mind that's always thinking about the best, most efficient, and cost-effective way to grow
• Outcome-focused, results-oriented mindset—you see challenges as opportunities and approach work with optimism
• Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes
• Experience with database technologies, including Redis and SQL Server
