The Sr. Clinical Advisor provides pharmacist-level support to internal teams and customers in the development, maintenance, and administration of clinical pharmacy programs and related clinical pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Formulary management and utilization management support
• CMS Part D formulary review, validation, and submission support
• FDB and drug database review and validation
• Drug information review and clinical analysis
• Prior authorization, step therapy, and quantity limit support
• Cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Services, IT, Operations, and Product teams
• Client implementation and platform migration support
• Clinical documentation, training, and issue resolution activities

Skills

• PharmD required
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Managed care, PBM, health plan, or formulary management experience
• Medicare Part D and utilization management knowledge
• Experience with FDB or similar drug databases
