Our client, a dynamic national event services provider, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Catering & Event Coordinator. This position is crucial for supporting our client's extensive network of catering partners and ensuring the successful planning and execution of virtual and hybrid events across the country. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate catering logistics for virtual and hybrid events, liaising between clients, vendors, and internal teams. Manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines for menu selections, delivery schedules, and attendee communications are met. Assist in the development of creative catering solutions tailored to the unique needs of virtual and hybrid event formats. Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional support throughout the planning process. Process event orders, manage invoicing, and track payments using company software. Maintain accurate event records and databases, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible. Troubleshoot issues that arise during event planning or execution, offering timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials related to catering offerings for virtual events. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in event coordination, catering support, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to virtual or hybrid events. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, essential for remote work. Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and partners via digital platforms. Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams), project management software, and standard office applications. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote setting. A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving. Experience with CRM or event management software is a plus. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space conducive to focused work.
