They are seeking a Senior Metadata Ingestion Analyst to act as a liaison between technical IT teams and business stakeholders, focusing on metadata management, data governance, and analytics support.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between IT, data engineering, and business teams
• Connect enterprise metadata catalog and lineage systems with source systems
• Automate metadata collection and enrichment processes
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple complex sources
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Translate technical findings into non-technical language
• Validate AI-generated outputs and mitigate data inconsistencies
• Develop and manage business glossaries and metadata definitions
• Conduct training sessions to improve data literacy across teams
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards
• Develop AI prompts and reusable query templates for reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis / Data Analysis roles
• Strong SQL expertise (data extraction, manipulation, enrichment)
• Experience with metadata, data lineage, and data glossaries
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and data translation
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
• Experience working with analytics teams and IT stakeholders
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence tools
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Experience with Informatica EDC, Axon, or similar tools
• Healthcare / Health & Human Services domain experience
• Experience in training, mentoring, and promoting data literacy
• Exposure to AI prompt engineering / data synthesis
• CBAP / CCBA
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
• Informatica certifications (nice to have)
