The Associate Territory Manager will manage relationships for middle market new and renewal business, focusing on profitable growth through direct contact with select agencies or brokers.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals and objectives through development, negotiation and execution of business plans
• Help agencies create and implement sales strategies, processes and practices that drive new sales, increase shelf space, profit and member retention
• Collaborate with internal partners to support and increase the overall Nationwide presence

Skills

• Commercial Insurance underwriting experience (with authority)
• Production & Agency Management orientation
• Multi-Line underwriting experience within Middle Market accounts, specifically
• Industry segment experience across Manufacturing, Wholesale/Distribution, Food Service & Accommodation, Retail, Professional Services and other related industries
• Relevant insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, AU, etc.), or coursework towards them
