The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full cycle accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while maintaining vendor relationships and supporting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day accounts payable transactions, including invoice receipt, coding, data entry, and approvals
• Execute weekly payment runs and ensure adherence to payment terms
• Maintain vendor records and assist with onboarding documentation
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations
• Maintain organized and audit-ready AP documentation
• Support cash flow tracking and forecasting
• Assist with sales tax reporting and filing
• Support property tax, permits, and licenses tracking
• Maintain insurance and administrative financial documentation
• Monitor AP aging and flag urgent items
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Support month-end close activities
• Perform additional administrative and financial tasks as assigned

Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficiency in accounting systems, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and a collaborative team player aligned with company values
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred
