Registered Dietitian (RD) - Outpatient

Part-Time Registered Dietitian (Outpatient & Wellness Focus) 32 hours/week | 4 days (3 onsite + 1 telehealth) We are seeking a passionate, patient-centered Registered Dietitian (RD) to join an outpatient care team at a Connecticut-based hospital in partnership with Culinour. This unique role blends clinical nutrition, wellness programming, and culinary collaboration, making it ideal for an RD who enjoys both patient counseling and engaging with the community in a hands-on, meaningful way. Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient nutrition counseling and support preventative health initiatives Deliver nutrition education through wellness programs, teaching kitchen demonstrations, and group sessions Partner closely with culinary and operations teams to: Present nutrition information Support menu understanding and transparency Enhance the overall guest and patient experience Conduct nutrition assessments and documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality, patient-centered care Assist with maintaining and updating nutrition-related policies, procedures, and best practices Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with all applicable standards Provide real-time guidance to support safety, accuracy, and excellence in care

Qualifications

Education & Credentials Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, excluding candidates credentialed before the graduate degree requirement Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program Completion of an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Program Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (CDR) State licensure/certification, if required Experience & Skills Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or other healthcare settings preferred Strong understanding of nutrition regulations and compliance standards Passion for preventative care, wellness, and public health Excellent communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups Ability to collaborate closely with culinary teams in a hands-on environment Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems Culinour® is a specialty company of Phoenix3 Collective, a Boston-based strategic growth partner that accelerates distributive and lifestyle service companies in healthcare, behavioral health, senior living, and corporate markets.
