Learn more at www.dminc.com About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Product Manager (Technical Lead) to drive the delivery of a School-Based Services Electronic Health Record (EHR) system supporting a state client. This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented Product Manager role that blends product leadership, technical oversight, and stakeholder coordination across state agencies, vendors, and implementation teams. The Product Manager will operate within a hybrid Agile environment, ensuring that the EHR solution is successfully designed, implemented, and deployed—on time, within scope, and aligned to public sector healthcare requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Product & Technical Leadership Serve as the technical lead for the EHR product, guiding design, build, test, and deployment activities Translate business needs into technically feasible product direction and solution options Provide direction on infrastructure, platform decisions, and system architecture Maintain overall solution quality and ensure alignment to project objectives and standards Stakeholder & Vendor Management Coordinate across DVHA, Agency of Digital Services (ADS), Agency of Education (AOE), school districts (LEAs), and EHR vendors Act as a central point of contact for technical questions and issue resolution across stakeholders Partner with project management, business leads, and procurement to monitor vendor performance Facilitate collaboration between state teams, SMEs, and implementation leads EHR Implementation & Delivery Lead and oversee data migration and system integrations/interfaces with external systems Ensure a structured release management process, including multi-cohort go-live planning Support system documentation, training materials, and organizational readiness Identify and resolve technical blockers, risks, and dependencies Agile Product Execution Drive and refine Agile and hybrid delivery practices across teams Provide technical input into backlog prioritization, sizing, and complexity assessment Participate in sprint activities, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts Strategic & Analytical Contribution Research industry trends, EHR best practices, and market capabilities Evaluate vendor solutions and support technology selection and module implementation decisions Communicate technical debt, risks, and trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholders

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 8–12+ years in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Technology Delivery Experience leading EHR / EMR implementations or healthcare IT systems Proven success in large-scale system implementations (public sector preferred) Experience managing vendor-driven delivery environments Required Skills & Certifications: Technical & Functional Skills Strong understanding of: EHR platforms and healthcare data workflows System integration, APIs, and interoperability Data migration strategies and execution Experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Leadership & Communication Ability to engage executive stakeholders and cross-agency partners Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills Proven ability to lead without direct authority in matrixed environments Additional Requirements: Experience with state Medicaid, public health, or education systems Familiarity with HIPAA and health data compliance environments Background in multi-organization implementations (state + vendor + local entities) Certifications (nice to have): Agile (Scrum, SAFe) PMP or equivalent Healthcare IT or interoperability-related certifications
