Candidates must possess a basic understanding of digital photography equipment, flash units, and software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. The Photographer will report to the Photography Manager for Disney Fine Arts Photography.This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.ResponsibilitiesSet up and photograph on-location studio sessionsOversee "print on site" sessionsPhotograph large group photos of up to 300 people and process images for editing, including both group and individual shotsArrange photography risers and determine suitable locationsConduct green screen shoots, matte in backgrounds, and manage virtual background sessionsPhotograph of character interactionsCollaborate with Senior Photographers to provide comprehensive coverage during eventsServe as Second Shooter for large weddingsCreate creative and unique imagesPhotograph small weddings as the primary contactShoot portrait sessionsPhotograph product and promotional images in a studio settingQualificationsYou HaveAn understanding of photography production in a business environmentExperience with Sony cameras, professional lighting equipment, and Mac computersKnowledge of lighting techniques for large group photos (e.g., 500 people), as well as individual and small group posingAbility to determine when and how to use a second light unit as a fill flash or essential lightProficiency in Photoshop and Lightroom software, composition, and understanding of the exposure triangleExperience with photography at events or conventionsAvailability to work weekends, variable shifts, and holidaysRequired EducationHigh School diploma or equivalentPreferred EducationA bachelor's (4-year) degree in PhotographyThe hiring range for this position in Orlando, Florida, is $20.10 - $25.15 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
