Patient Access Rep Centralized Scheduling

Your future role at a glance Location: Remote Department: Ascension Contact Center - Centralized Scheduling Schedule: Day shift l Full-time | Hours vary between 7:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday Salary range: $18.31 - 24.77 per hour #ACC #LI-Remote How you'll make an impact in this role You will manage scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring clinical resources and patient time are used with maximum efficiency. You will accurately capture demographic and insurance info to ensure a seamless checkout and billing experience. You will resolve scheduling hurdles and provide clear, empathetic guidance to patients regarding their pre-service requirements. You will support the insurance authorization process to ensure patients get the care they need without delays. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional requirements you'll need Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat correspondence. Experience taking high volume calls in a health-care setting. Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment. Experience with Athena, Epic, Dash, Genesys or Salesforce.
