About Colla Health We help people with cancer improve their quality of life by providing behavioral healthcare to the 17 million cancer patients in the US as an extension of their medical treatment. One out of every three cancer patients has a diagnosed mental health condition but only 25% of them receive treatment for their mental health challenges, exacerbating quality of life, worsening health outcomes, and increasing their total cost of care to the system. We have built a behavioral health services and technology company to support patients' mental health alongside their physical health treatment plans. Our first offering deploys virtual mental health services using Collaborative Care, an evidence-based behavioral health care model. We will scale this virtual care model using technology, and build the foundations to drive outcomes focused on value-based care. Role Overview As an Outreach and Engagement Specialist, you will be a frontline ambassador for Colla Health, educating and enrolling patients into our services. Ideal candidates possess excellent verbal communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with patients over the phone. Core Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls (est. 50/day) and digital outreach to patients, informing and educating how Colla Health’s platform serves as an extension to a partner practice’s care team Manage inbound calls from potential patients Achieve member enrollment goals as driven by company KPIs Support patients by answering their questions, addressing concerns and providing guidance on how Colla Health can support them Document all interactions and maintain timely, accurate records of patient outreach activities Collaborate internally and externally with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure patients receive appropriate care and services Who You Are Outcome-driven, with high empathy and customer service orientation Demonstrated success in an outbound-calling, high volume 1:1 interaction role, preferably enrollment-related Experienced with remote work, U.S-based Available to work Central Time Zone hours, Monday - Friday, approximately 9am - 5pm CST Passionate about expanding behavioral health access to patients in need Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creative, action-oriented, and someone who enjoys a fast-pace, evolving environment
