We also help students with athletic advising, executive function coaching, summer program placement, and college counseling. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 mock admissions interviews for students and parents applying to independent K–12 schools.
• Provide detailed verbal and written feedback tailored to each student's communication skills, presentation, and readiness.
• Guide students on interview etiquette, self-presentation, and age-appropriate personal narratives.
• Collaborate with the HCC team to ensure consistency with each student's Blueprint and admissions strategy.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and timely communication with families and internal team members.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in an independent-school admissions office or a K–12 educational setting

(e.g., Admissions, teacher, division head, dean, or counselor).

• Direct experience interviewing families or students

in an admissions context is strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of independent-school culture, communication norms, and admissions criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide supportive, actionable coaching to students ranging from elementary to high school.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Previous experience at competitive private/independent day or boarding schools.
• Familiarity with middle-school and high-school application processes, including SSAT/ISEE interviews and parent conversations.
• Background in student advising, coaching, or counseling.

Compensation

• Hourly rate

based on experience level , seniority, and prior admissions background.

• This is an
