Medical Data Roles (Short-Term Contract)

Our innovative and reliable products are engineered for the nuances of the African landscape, empowering frontline providers to deliver excellent healthcare to patients. Our products include the Provider Digitization Suite—HeliumOS and HeliumDoc, Financial Solutions—HeliumCredit and HeliumWallet, and Our Public Health & DataPartnerships - Public Health and Data and Insights. This is a high-output, short-term 2-week project focused on standardising and validating records using AI-assisted tools. We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to join a fast-paced data alignment initiative across clinical, pharmacy, and laboratory datasets. All selected candidates will work within a structured workflow to support a combined target of a minimum of 3,000 validated records per day. In line with the above, we are hiring across the following specialist categories:
- Laboratory Scientist (Medical Data)
- Validate laboratory and diagnostic data using LOINC coding standards
- Correct errors in AI-generated suggestions via the dedicated data portal
- Pharmacy Specialist
- Map and validate medication data using RxNorm standards
- Review and correct AI-generated pharmacy-related patient records
- Clinical Specialist (Doctor)
- Assign and validate ICD-10 diagnostic codes
- Review and refine prediction engine outputs for clinical accuracy
- Project Supervisor (Senior Clinical Reviewer)
- Perform a mandatory 25% audit of all daily record batches
- Oversee quality assurance across specialist outputs
- Resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity
