We are looking for an experienced Medicaid expert with deep knowledge of New Jersey Medicaid, especially long term care and nursing home eligibility. Experience with other states is also important. The ideal candidate should understand the full Medicaid application and approval process, including:

• Nursing home Medicaid eligibility
• Spend down strategies and calculations
• Asset and income rules
• Community spouse protections
• Medicaid lookback periods and transfer penalties
• Managed Long Term Care and waiver programs
• Application preparation and submission
• Following up with county agencies and case workers
• Appeals, denials, and resolving eligibility issues
• Recertifications and ongoing case management
• Understanding of state specific differences and requirements

We are looking for someone who can help guide cases from start to finish and identify the fastest and most effective path to approval. Experience working with seniors, families, nursing homes, elder law firms, Medicaid planning companies, or case management organizations is strongly preferred. Please include details on:
