Livestock Tech Success Manager

The Opportunity: Join a global leader and become the frontline partner for West Coast dairy farmers, bridging the gap between innovative smart-farming solutions and daily operational success. We are seeking a highly motivated Livestock Tech Success Manager to join our client’s growing team on the US West Coast. This is a field-based role that combines hands-on farm support, technology deployment, customer success and data-driven consulting to help dairy producers maximize the value of smart farming solutions. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will lead system installations, onboarding, training, technical troubleshooting, ensuring customers achieve measurable improvements in herd performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong blend of technical aptitude, dairy industry knowledge, and practical on-farm experience. You will be a proactive problem-solver who builds trusted customer relationships through a practical, hands-on approach, bridging the gap between technology and day-to-day farm operations while delivering exceptional customer service.   • Lead and manage the on-farm customer onboarding, system installations, and hands on training, ensuring livestock monitoring solutions are successfully implemented and fully adopted
  • Build and maintain trusted customer relations providing hands-on support and practical guidance to improve farm performance and operational efficiency
  • Analyse performance data, customer feedback and market trends to identify risks, improve processes, influence product development, and drive strategic decision-making
  • Manage the end-to-end customer experience, driving effective escalation management, service excellence, and continuous improvement to maximise customer satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with the wider business and global teams to drive customer success, support business growth, and contribute to product and process improvements

Skills you will need: Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Customer Success or Sales role within the dairy or livestock industry
  • A strong knowledge of dairy production systems with hands-on livestock experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage and influence others
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence across a diverse customer base
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, problem-solving, and issue resolution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights
  • Customer-focused, calm and effective in resolving issues
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to business needs
  • Technically proficient with experience using CRM, ticketing, and productivity tools, including Salesforce

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting integrated hardware and software solutions
  • Knowledge of precision livestock technologies
