Lead, IT Service Management, Mehiläinen

Remote · South Korea Full-time

We are on an ambitious journey at Mehiläinen: to become Europe’s leading health company by 2030. Our growth story has already taken us to seven countries, driven by modern technology and the experts who make us a frontrunner in the industry. IT plays a strategic role here — we are a business enabler. We are now looking for an experienced Lead, IT Service Management to build and lead our ITSM capability at Group level. Are you an ITSM professional with hands-on experience in developing and deploying ITSM solutions? Do you want to play a key role in establishing a new function that spans our entire European Group? If so, you could be exactly who we are looking for. Key responsibilities Act as solution owner for Mehiläinen’s tailored ITSM solution and take overall responsibility for its development project — on time, within budget and agreed scope. Coordinate the rollout of the ITSM system across all Group countries from design to implementation, managing stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams. Define IT service management processes at Group level (incident, change, problem, service request) and own their implementation across the organisation. Build Mehiläinen’s Service Management Office (SMO) in line with long-term strategic objectives. Monitor service management KPIs and report regularly to leadership on progress and performance. Champion ITIL-based best practices across the organisation and serve as the internal expert on service management matters.

Requirements

At least five years of experience in IT service management or ITSM systems, with a proven track record of leading comparable programmes. Hands-on experience developing or deploying ITSM solutions (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or custom-built solutions). ITIL certification (Foundation as a minimum; Practitioner or Managing Professional preferred) is considered an advantage. Experience of international IT projects and multicultural teams. A relevant higher education degree (e.g. computer science, information systems or equivalent). Fluent English; Finnish or another Group language is considered an advantage. Experience in the social and healthcare sector is considered an advantage. Personal success factors Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams without direct line authority. A growth mindset — you enjoy challenges and embrace opportunities to develop both professionally and personally. A hands-on, can-do attitude — you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take ownership. Comfort operating in ambiguity and across multiple countries and cultures simultaneously. Structured thinking and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear processes and actionable plans. Why join Mehiläinen? We are all committed to acting in line with our values, and we believe the best results come from giving our experts freedom, responsibility, community and opportunities to grow. IT Technical Delivery Lead Sami Nykänen describes what he values most about working in Mehiläinen IT: “The best part of my job is the great team and agile way of working. At Mehiläinen, we genuinely enjoy trying new things and trust our experts to take ownership. It creates an energising and motivating environment where everyone can grow.” We also offer a range of attractive benefits that make working here enjoyable and flexible. You can choose your own work equipment, enjoy a variety of activities to balance work life, and have the opportunity to work from any of our Group’s operating countries — supporting your personal work-life balance. Send your application via the link below by June 29th. We review applications on a rolling basis and invite selected candidates to interview during the application period. Please note that we do not accept applications by email. For more information about the role, please contact: PMO Director Antti Melander [email protected] tel. +358 50 385 1467
