Lead Front End Engineer - Capital One Software (Remote) In this role, you will be a key partner across engineering and brand teams, collaborating closely with content strategists, designers, and marketing leads. Your work will focus on building and iterating on a website that prioritizes speed, accessibility, and ease of management for the entire team. What You’ll Do

• Architect, build and maintain our Marketing website using React, and Tailwind.css with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Partner with design to implement polished, pixel-perfect UI components with a strong eye for detail.
• Integrate with third party services including analytics, CMS, Marketo Forms and A/B testing tools
• Establish and maintain staging and production deployments with reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate campaign and product goals into technical solutions.
• Drive Core Web Vitals scores, SEO best practices and web accessibility across all the pages.
• Govern and continuously optimize development and operations workflows - from branching strategies and release processes to incident response time. Basic Qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience
• Strong understanding of React and Next JS including App Router, server components and SSG/SSR strategies.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and responsive/accessible components
• Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms and third party APIs
• Experience working directly with Marketing and design stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• 3+ years of experience with Contentful CMS
