Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex DeFi protocols, including AMMs, lending protocols, and yield farming platforms. Develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using languages like Solidity. Oversee the entire development lifecycle of DeFi applications, from conception to production deployment. Mentor and guide a team of blockchain developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high code quality. Research and integrate emerging blockchain technologies and DeFi trends. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments. Ensure the security and robustness of all deployed DeFi smart contracts and applications.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus (3+ years) on blockchain and smart contract development. Extensive experience in developing and deploying DeFi protocols and applications (e.g., Uniswap, Aave, Compound). Expertise in Solidity and proficiency with blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle). Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and tokenomics. Experience with security best practices for smart contracts and DeFi protocols. Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain interoperability. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly for remote collaboration.
