The role involves analyzing insurance coverage, preparing coverage opinions, and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, requiring strong research and litigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first party property and general liability matters
• Having litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions
• Interpreting contracts of all kinds and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, including monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States

Skills

• At least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first party property and general liability matters
• Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions
• Strong research and writing skills
• Admission to the California Bar
• Some experience in insurance law
• Substantive litigation experience
• Demonstrated interest in insurance law
