Channeled Resources Group is a privately-owned company that is a growing leader in the labeling/coating industry. They are looking to add an experienced General Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and providing backup support across key accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Enter, track, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Process payroll (ADP), including verification of hours, deductions, and compliance with policies
• Assist with and provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Maintain and monitor lease records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
• Prepare and post journal entries ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards
• Organize and manage financial and operational documents for easy access and compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and systems

Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with payroll systems
• Knowledge in purchase order management
• Familiarity with lease accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and systems
