If you thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment where every challenge sparks growth, come build the future with us. 🌟 ABOUT THE ROLE As our Founding Account Executive, you will be the first commercial hire on the ground in the UK/Nordics market - and one of the most consequential hires in DeepIP's history. This isn't a role where you inherit a playbook. You'll write it. You'll own the full go-to-market motion for the UK/Nordics region: building the territory from zero, landing our first reference accounts in the Legal and IP sector, and shaping the commercial foundation that the entire European expansion will be built on. This role can be fully remote from the UK, with equity, a seat at the table, and the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as we scale. Responsibilities: Own the UK/Nordics territory end-to-end - define the ICP, build the account list, and drive the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed contract and beyond. Land our first marquee accounts in the region: top-tier patent law firms, IP boutiques, and corporate IP teams - deals that set the benchmark for DeepIP in Europe. Build the regional sales playbook from scratch: document what works, codify best practices, and create the foundation that future AEs will inherit. Act as the voice of the market internally - feed structured insights to product, marketing, and leadership to directly shape the roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Master MEDDIC, maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene in CRM, and hold yourself to a 3X coverage and consistent quota attainment - with the discipline of a senior operator. Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on pricing, positioning, and deal strategy for complex, high-stakes enterprise opportunities. Hire and mentor the next wave of AEs as the territory matures - you're building a team, not just a book of business. ABOUT YOU Qualifications: 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years as a closing AE - ideally in a vertical SaaS, legal tech, or IP-adjacent environment. Proven track record of opening new markets or territories from scratch - you've been first on the ground before and you know what it takes. Strong record of closing $100k–$500k ACV enterprise deals with long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-level and General Counsel-level buyers. Builder mindset: you're equally comfortable running outbound, closing a 6-figure deal, and writing the process doc afterwards. Comfortable operating with high ambiguity and low hand-holding - you don't wait for the playbook, you create it. Deep intellectual curiosity about AI and its application in the IP/legal sector; you can hold a substantive conversation with a patent attorney or a Chief IP Officer. Entrepreneurial drive backed by the discipline of a senior operator: you think like a founder, execute like an AE, and lead by example.
