How You'll Make an Impact Execute precision mechanical work in high-voltage electrical substations across diverse geographical regions under the guidance of senior technicians Work side-by-side with experienced Field Service Technicians to learn transformer maintenance, service procedures, and troubleshooting techniques Apply technical, mechanical, or military-acquired skills to real-world field service applications Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic assessments to support preventive maintenance efforts Assist in servicing and repairing transformer systems using established processes and tools Learn to analyze technical data and apply findings to critical customer challenges Operate Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment with training and oversight Maintain accurate processing logs and support transformer testing activities Utilize digital tools and software platforms for documentation and site reporting Collaborate with engineering teams, senior field staff, and customers to support maintenance strategies Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and internal procedures Your Background High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields.
