Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Agent – Remote Contact Center Representative

Job Summary

As a remote contact center representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and sales support to our clients across the country. You'll interact with hundreds of customers each week, resolving support issues, selling new products and services, and ensuring best-in-class customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

* Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues

  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks
  • Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade
  • Explain and position products and processes with customers
  • Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction with managerial team
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age or older

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service-oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service or sales experience

  • Experience working in a contact center or call center environment
  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Physical Requirements

* This job operates in a professional office environment, with minimal physical demands

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset
  • Regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer
  • Occasional requirement to move about the office to accomplish tasks
