We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online, construction industry accounting, and a strong foundation in various financial software. I’m looking for a highly experienced bookkeeper/accounting professional with strong QuickBooks Online knowledge and a background in construction accounting. This is not an entry-level role — must be able to hit the ground running. Requirements:

• Strong experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Construction accounting is a MUST
• Job costing experience (CIP, project tracking, WIP)
• Bank & credit card reconciliations
• Ability to balance and review the general ledger
• Experience with prepaid entries, accruals, and journal entries
• Understanding of intercompany transactions
• Comfortable handling multiple entities/companies
• Ability to clean up books and correct prior errors

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Construction loans / draw schedules
• Owner distributions, partner equity & contributions
• Payroll entries and payroll liabilities
• Experience with Service Fusion or similar systems

Position Details:

• Remote / work from home
• Must be local to the Denver, NC area (or nearby)
• Flexible structure: 1099 subcontractor or W-2 employee
• Ongoing work across multiple companies
• Pay: 1099 or W-2 (depending on fit)
