The Forge also offers a food menu, making it a destination for both entertainment and casual dining. With a general admission main floor and a balcony featuring limited reserved seating, the venue is designed to accommodate diverse events and audiences. Role Description The Event and Party Planner at The Forge is a full-time remote role responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of events and private parties hosted at the venue. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients to understand event goals, creating event concepts and timelines, and organizing logistics such as scheduling, vendor coordination, and décor planning. The role involves managing budgets, preparing proposals, and supporting sales efforts to promote event packages and services. The Event and Party Planner also works closely with venue staff to ensure smooth execution of events, monitors guest experience and feedback, and maintains detailed records and reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, including experience coordinating multiple events and handling logistics.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
  • Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to plan, track, and optimize event costs while meeting client expectations.
  • Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support event package promotion, client proposals, and upselling venue services.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational and time management abilities, proficiency with digital planning tools and office software, familiarity with entertainment or hospitality environments, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or venue management and a relevant degree or certification in event planning, hospitality, or a related field are advantageous.
