Event and Experience Manager

Our client, a dynamic leader in the hospitality and tourism sector, is seeking a creative and organized Event and Experience Manager for a fully remote position. While the organization is based in Orlando, Florida , this role allows for full remote work, focusing on designing and delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing virtual and in-person events. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless logistics, engaging content, and memorable experiences for attendees. This role requires a blend of creativity, meticulous planning, and strong vendor management skills. As a remote-first company, we rely on robust communication and project management tools to ensure successful event delivery. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse range of events, including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and special programs. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV, transportation, and accommodation. Develop compelling event themes, content, and engagement strategies to enhance attendee experience. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and execute marketing campaigns for events. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality. Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners. Oversee the registration process and attendee communication for all events. Develop and implement strategies for virtual and hybrid event engagement. Conduct post-event analysis, gathering feedback and reporting on event success metrics. Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations. Proactively identify and address potential risks or challenges associated with event execution. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in event management and hospitality. Contribute innovative ideas for new event formats and experiences. Manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Act as the primary point of contact for event stakeholders before, during, and after the event. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in event planning, management, or coordination, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry. Proven experience in managing both in-person and virtual/hybrid events. Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities. Creative thinking and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Proficiency in event management software and platforms (e.g., Cvent, Hopin, Zoom Events). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting. Budget management experience.
