Drupal Web Developer Location:Remote Interview Process:1 round, Virtual/Online Duration:12Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 06+ Years Candidatelocation: No SC residency required. Open to nationwide candidates. Project Scope: The Department of Administration is seeking aSenior Web Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenanceof enterprise web applications and websites. The consultant will work acrossthe full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), developing both front-end andback-end solutions using Drupal, WordPress, PHP, Linux, and related webtechnologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop,test, and maintain web-based applications and websites.
- Convert userrequirements and UI mockups into fully functional websites.
- Develop front-endand back-end website functionality.
- Work with CMSplatforms including Drupal and WordPress.
- Maintain andmodernize existing PHP applications.
- Integratewebsites with internal and third-party systems.
- Configure andsupport Apache Web Server environments.
- Ensure websitesmeet accessibility, security, and cross-browser compliance standards.
- Deliver trainingand knowledge transfer to end users and client teams.
- Participate inon-call support for system updates and emergency issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of webapplication development, coding, debugging, and deployment experience.
- 5+ years ofexperience with Linux, PHP, Drupal 8, and WordPress.
- 5+ years ofexperience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Flash.
- 5+ years ofexperience with SQL/MySQL databases.
- Experienceconfiguring Apache Web Server.
- Full CMSdeployment experience (installation, configuration, production support).
- 5+ years ofPublic Sector/Government experience.
Preferred Skills: ·Strong AdobePhotoshop experience.
- Experienceapplying Drupal CMS patches and upgrades.
- Knowledge of websecurity remediation and best practices.
·Adobe Captivateexperience.
- Experiencecreating fillable PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Graphic designexperience for professional website deployments
Important:Candidates must have strong hands-onexperience with Drupal, WordPress, PHP, Linux, SQL/MySQL, and Public Sectorprojects. Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent workexperience.
