The Role Scale Media operates three supplement brands: Live Conscious, 1MD Nutrition, and Essential Elements. We believe organic growth, search visibility, and AI-driven discovery will become increasingly important acquisition channels across our portfolio. We're hiring a Director of Organic Growth to own and scale organic acquisition across all three brands. This person will lead SEO strategy, content operations, digital PR, and emerging AI/LLM search visibility efforts, with a focus on driving measurable customer acquisition and long-term brand authority.

What You'll Do

Audit existing content across all three brands and determine what should be optimized, consolidated, rewritten, or retired. Own SEO performance across the portfolio, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and search visibility. Develop and manage editorial calendars, content roadmaps, and writer workflows while maintaining high standards for expertise, credibility, and compliance within the health and wellness category. Build strategies that improve visibility within AI and LLM-powered search experiences by identifying citation opportunities and increasing brand presence across third-party publications, digital PR, community platforms, affiliate channels, and other trusted sources. Partner with existing PR agencies to evolve their approach toward citation-driven visibility or identify and onboard specialized partners as needed. Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure traffic growth, keyword rankings, AI and LLM mentions, branded search trends, and overall organic channel performance. Establish attribution and measurement methodologies that accurately reflect organic growth's contribution across multiple customer acquisition channels. Partner closely with ecommerce, Amazon, affiliate, creator marketing, analytics, and brand teams to align organic growth strategies with broader business goals. Evaluate, hire, and manage agencies, freelancers, and eventually internal team members as the function scales.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience building organic growth into a meaningful customer acquisition channel, not simply maintaining existing programs. Deep SEO expertise with the ability to direct and evaluate technical SEO initiatives. Experience leading content strategy and content operations across multiple brands, business units, or product lines. Strong understanding of modern search behavior and the evolving impact of AI and LLM-powered search experiences. Experience developing digital PR, authority-building, backlink acquisition, or brand visibility strategies. Strong analytical and measurement skills, with the ability to separate platform-reported metrics from actual business impact. Experience selecting, managing, and holding agencies accountable for performance. Demonstrated ability to build processes, scale programs, and grow teams. Experience within regulated industries such as health, wellness, supplements, financial services, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
