Job Description

Department and Project This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer - Monitoring to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring solutions to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact our users. Main tasks As a DevOps Engineer: Deploy, configure, and manage Atlassian products (JIRA Service Management, Confluence, Jira ). Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and integrations. Maintain and improve system reliability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with IT and development teams to streamline workflows and optimize DevOps practices. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure. Ensure data integrity and compliance with best practices. Support integration with external tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Qualifications

Background and required skills: Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, natural science, mathematics, business or equivalent work experience in IT 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, System Administration, or similar role. Strong experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jira Service Manager) Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC). Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience integrating Atlassian tools with other DevOps and ITSM tools. Problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills. Fluent in English. Advantage: Experience working in SAFe environment. German language knowledge Additional Information
