Position Overview As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in our dental insurance claims processing operations. This is a remote contract position offering competitive compensation and the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. We particularly welcome candidates located in Pacific Time or Mountain Time zones for optimal collaboration with our team. This initial contract spans 6-8 months with strong potential for extension based on performance and business needs. You'll be equipped with all the necessary tools to succeed, including a company-provided Chromebook for your work needs.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the following core functions:

  • Claims Data Entry: Accurately input and process dental insurance claims information into our proprietary systems, ensuring all data fields are completed correctly and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Image Management: Download and upload dental images from client portals to the careerzynith platform, maintaining proper file naming conventions and organization standards.
  • Data Validation: Review entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors in the information.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on processed claims to ensure adherence to accuracy standards and regulatory requirements.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Strictly adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive patient information and protected health data (PHI).
  • System Navigation: Efficiently navigate multiple software platforms and portals to retrieve, process, and upload required documentation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all processed work and escalate any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide constructive feedback on processes and systems to help improve operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Prior Data Entry Experience: Demonstrated experience in data entry roles with a track record of maintaining high accuracy rates (minimum 95% accuracy required).
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with multiple software applications and learning new systems quickly.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in data.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional written communication skills.
  • Internet Requirements: Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed recommended).
  • Availability: Must be available to work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week during core U.S. business hours.
  • Time Zone: Preference for candidates located in Pacific Time or Mountain Time zones, though other time zones may be considered.
