The Customer Account Representative will respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and maintain account information while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and promptness
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring data integrity and timely entry into the system
• Responsible for answering a daily average quota of customer phone calls and emails
• Monitor and follow up on backorders, providing proactive updates to customers regarding order status, expected delivery and tracking information
• Resolve customer disputes
• Ensure timely receipt of customer due in’s
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve order or account-related issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all customer interactions
• Maintain and update customer account information with accuracy
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Assist customers in obtaining information on services from other DFJ departments and/or DFJ vendors
• Perform off-hour telephone coverage as needed
• Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business objectives on an as needed basis

Skills

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Minimum one year Customer Service experience, in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with Automated Order Entry Systems
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Exceptional organizational and follow up skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Required to work rotating shifts
• College preferred
• Previous customer service experience in the aviation industry
• Valid driver's license
