Liaise with Coding Centre Leadership on the quality of clinical information received REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION Clinical Coding Qualification DESIRED EDUCATION: Anatomy and Physiology training REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Clinical coding experience DESIRED EDUCATION: Experience in a private healthcare patient administration REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Anatomy; physiology and terminology Clinical coding knowledge of ICD-10, CSSA and SADA rules and guidelines and the ability to apply within the workplace Relevant coding systems (e.g. ICD-10 books; Latest CCSA coding books; clinical coding system (Encoder); South African Coding Master Industry Table (MIT),and Patient Administrative system.
