Business Development Representative

SCOPE OF WORK: Business Development Representative REPORTS TO: Director of Operations BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR) Aerial Canvas is seeking a Business Development Representative with experience in real estate, luxury services, commercial property marketing, architecture, construction, hospitality, or related industries. This is not a traditional call-center sales role. We are looking for a relationship-driven professional who understands how to engage high-value clients, identify opportunities, and guide prospects through a consultative sales process. Our clients include real estate professionals, developers, builders, architects, property managers, hospitality groups, and other businesses seeking premium visual marketing solutions. SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Identify and develop relationships with qualified prospects that align with Aerial Canvas's target markets.
  • Conduct strategic outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and industry-specific channels.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and handoff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, developers, construction firms, architects, hospitality groups, and commercial clients.
  • Schedule and lead discovery meetings to understand client needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and existing contacts.
  • Accurately track activities, opportunities, and sales pipeline updates within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop sales strategies, target markets, and partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the Aerial Canvas brand professionally and maintain a high level of client service.
  • Meet monthly revenue, pipeline, and business development goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, consultative sales, or client relationship management.
  • Experience working with real estate, luxury services, commercial property marketing, architecture, construction, hospitality, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell high-ticket services or solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing opportunities through a CRM system.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Existing network within real estate, development, construction, hospitality, or commercial property sectors.
  • Experience selling creative services, photography, videography, drone services, digital marketing, branding, or media production.
  • HubSpot experience.
  • Understanding of luxury clientele and consultative sales methodologies.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT The contractor will perform services remotely and independently. Expected availability aligns with standard operating hours of Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PST, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. The contractor is responsible for providing their own equipment and tools necessary to perform the services outlined above. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS The contractor acknowledges that they are engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of Aerial Canvas. The contractor is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
