Associate Data Analyst

Job Title: Associate Data Analyst Location: Reston, VA or Remote East Coast (USA) About This Role: This role will be responsible for working directly with clients to onboard their digital data into Comscore platforms and production processes, through either standardized Comscore-managed measurement solutions or direct partnerships with clients. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and deliver actionable insights. A strong technical background is required, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex problems. What You’ll Do: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Read, understand, and analyze code written in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Objective-C/Swift. Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to interact with relational databases (RDBMS). Ensure data integrity and performance optimization. Utilize network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc., to monitor and analyze network traffic. Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present insights clearly to stakeholders. Understand and utilize the existing automation tools to streamline and automate repetitive tasks. Understand client queries, diagnose issues, and provide appropriate solutions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and learning from peers. Be adaptable to new technologies and changes in the work environment, including working independently. What You’ll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or analytically oriented field. Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages. Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS). Experience with network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc. Strong analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and changing business requirements. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to collective goals. Familiarity with Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft PowerAutomate is a plus. Compensation: $70,000.00 - 75,000.00 Salary; Commensurate with experience.
