E Source is a research, data/analytics, and technology-focused professional services firm focused exclusively on the utility industry in North America. They are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their growing Accounting Team, focusing on the Accounts Receivable function and assisting with various administrative and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer invoices in accordance with customer contracts
• Apply customer payments (ACHs, checks, wires, lockbox, etc.)
• Assist with collection efforts using our automated dunning letter module within our ERP system and by collaborating with internal client service teams
• Help set up billing rules and create projects in NetSuite and SuiteProjects Pro
• Support audit requests and other external data requests as necessary
• Communicate with project managers across several departments to ensure accurate invoicing and accounting for customer activity
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable, including account reconciliations, posting general ledger entries, and more
• Identify areas for process improvements
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for the new Plano office, including coordinating visitors, deliveries, supplies, and mail

Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Have experience with NetSuite, SuiteProjects Pro, or other similar ERP systems
